intimate catch-up with caroline

It’s not the first time we’ve spoken to Caroline Plummer - and we hope it won’t be the last. Caroline joined our last shoot with Petra Kleis, and she has such a calm and kind energy. We love being around her and we of course had to have another chat. Because how is it actually to model for a sex wellness brand? Before you read our chat: make sure to follow Caroline right here.

Can you tell us a bit about how do you feel at the moment?
Yes! And thank you for asking. I feel sad due to the current situation in the world, while I feel very blessed on a personal level.

We’ve interviewed you before and we were so happy that you said yes to modelling. What went through your mind when we asked?
I felt very honored to be part of such an amazing team of talented and beautiful people. That being said, I also felt a bit nervous about posing in underwear since it is not something I am used to.

Do you find it easy to be open about intimacy or do you think it’s a subject that can be hard to talk about?
I definitely think it can be challenging to be open about intimacy depending on who you talk to. Luckily, my girlfriends and I have established a very safe space where I feel like we can talk about anything. My boyfriend is a bit shyer than I am, but I force him (with love) to talk more openly about these things as well as I try to challenge myself. That being said, I believe that it is both possible and acceptable to keep your sex life private while still being able to talk openly about intimacy and sex on a more general level.

What changes would you like to see within the field of sex wellness?
I think sitre is paving the way towards the change I could wish for. To me, it is especially about being able to mirror yourself in the products you use. You should be able to be as picky about your sex wellness products as you are about your skincare routine – it all comes down to wellness and self care.

Finally: Last time we spoke, you talked about sexiness being a feeling more than a look. Do you have a tip if someone isn’t feeling it at the moment?
Absolutely! I think it is all about taking the time to do something nice for yourself. A weekly spa ritual is a good way to connect with – and take care of – yourself that will most definitely reflect on the way you feel in your own body.

It was good with a catch-up, thank you Caroline.
